Jeannie was a special lady to me. She welcomed me into her home since I was 14 years old. She took me on my first plane ride to Daytona Beach! I always felt welcomed and loved by this beautiful lady. I’ll always remember her love of reading and all the special notes In the front cover Critiquing the book. It was hard seeing her health decline through the past few years and not able to do what she loved to do. She will be missed my her family and everyone that loved her. ❤️

I loved my Aunt Jeanie very much. Her sister, my mom, Dorla, was always exchanging books with her and talking about what was going on with family. I will never forget the times when I would visit her and uncle Gene. She would answer the door, beaming with joy and delight to see me. She made me feel loved and special. I always regarded her highly for her work ethic, having an Avon business, a hair salon in the basement, then becoming a nurse at Methodist Hospital. She loved black cherry soda and made great meals for me. She was such a positive, uplifting person, I’m proud of her being my aunt and being a great influence on me.

Aunt Jeanie had a bubbly , effervescent personality! She was so happy to have visitors at her home! She was one of my inspirations to become a nurse! Prayers for your family.
